Born to run Chistopher McDougal

I finished this book really fast. It was that good. I couldnt put it down and a thoroughly enjoyed it. I learnt a lot about the Human body but more importantly something about myself. I forgot how much I love nonfiction. no matter what the genre though, this is the best read that ive ever read as horrible a sentence that is. Anyway I recommend this book to everyone for it is definately a great read. Which means for the three or four give or take people who actually read my blog, Read this book.

Exodus by Leon Uris

I really do loove this book so far. the characters are so easy to relate to! For example, the main character mark, a reporter has a friend who is being tempted to do a job for another man and im not going to get into specifics because i dont want to spoil anything and also im not quite sure yet which makes it pretty hard to talk about. now anyway, his friend wants to do a job and he says dont, if you check it out there is no resisting you are in and she thinks that she has the will to hold herself back and i was practically yelling at the book like mark trying to convince her otherwise but she goes and checks out the job and surley enough, she takes it. this is the type of intensity that this book has on the reader

Exodus by Leon Uris

this is a great read. He writes beautifully. His writing style is so down to earth its amazing. every dialogue suits their character. its not quite colloquial because that isnt the right word but i think that down to earth is the best description that suits it. its quite a good read so far just about old friends reuniting on cyprus, the only hitch being is that they dont know that they will be joining an israeli revolution in palestine. all of the characters are different so far and it shows all sides of human nature. I hope it continues to be this good a book and im sure that it will be because everyone that i have talked to that read it loved it.

Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy

Well I did it, I finally finished the book and I have to say, right to the end it amazed me. His writing is so genius because throughout the book you come to love all the characters, because in war sure you pick sides but in the end on both sides of the fighting lines there are good genuine men. All of Tom Clancy's main characters in this book were very likable people and when the book was wrapping up I got very nervous, When Russia loses what will come of the russian general Aleleyev, a character whom I have come to love, well anyway in the end of the book, I wont go into detail about the end but just know that everyone who is a good man gets what he deserves and its pretty much a happy ending after all. it was a challenging read and took a long time but the best book that i have ever read by far. I recomend it to everyone as long as they are ready for two things: Being stuck on a book for a couple months and the adventure ride of a life. I will definatly be reading more Tom Clancy in the future.

Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy

This is probably the best book i have ever read and i hope to be done with it by next week. just like many people i am not easily entertained and generally cant stay on one subject but whatever tom clancy is doing is clearly working because i am still hooked with this book which not many books really can achieve with me. so anyway the plots keep thickening, plots are dropping, everything is more dramatic, everyone is almost dying and the intensity levels are through the roof. the book just simply keeps getting better ande it was so long i dont know what i will do when its all over, its like i cant believe that i will need to choose a new book. i think that ill do another tom clancy just because he knows what hes writing about hes not guessing which just makes his writing even better so thank you tom clancy.

Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy

This book is still very entertaining and I dont believe that i am dragging it long than it needs to be i still read like 90 pages a week its just a very long book. generally when i read a book this long i get bored with it and decide to drop it but this book no matter how long, if the rest is written like it has been so far i am very excited to keep on reading because i think what tom clancy has done nicely is that no matter if its the good guy or the bad guy, he displays that they are all just good guys and that they just happen to be fighting a war against each other. I can genuinely say that all of the characters in the book are good people that I would be honored to be friends with. Character development in this book has been great and that is probably why I am not bored with this book. It is still a great one and potentially one of my favorites.

Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy

This book continues to amaze me. First of all, the plot is so hard to even think about and Tom Clancy is able to maintain the major plot of Russia waging war on the world while also telling the stories of two different members of the Navy on two different subs, a small group of soldiers stuck on Iceland after it was seized by Russia so they are behind enemy lines with two or three jobs depending how you look at it; stay alive and observe and report. Other individual stories include that of a new Russian General who is occupying Iceland and inside the minds of the americans that run our military. Anyway I just think that it is very impressive how Tom Clancy is able to bounce from story to story not mentioning int for 50 pages and when you get back to it you know exactly what is going on. My personal favorite is what the Americans in Iceland are going through. Its always the exact same story. the person is stuck in the middle of the enemy and when this person manages to get a call to his country for help, first they go through a tremendous amount of protocol and when they finally respond 6 hours laterm if you are still alive they still barely do nothing and you must know that staying alive is your responsiblity and there is no one to help. What a system.
